Consider certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (CLA or CP) by taking NALA's Certified Legal Assistant/Certified Paralegal Examination. This intensive computerized examination will test your basic skills and legal knowledge. The examination consists of five (5) sections: Communications, Ethics, Legal Research, Judgment & Analytical Ability, and Substantive Law (American Legal System, Business Organizations, Civil Litigation, and Contracts).
